About the Climb against Metastatic Breast Cancer

Mission Statement
Stage IV metastatic breast cancer is incurable and currently claims 116 lives every single day, therefore Make Good Moves for MBC exists to raise funds for awareness for the disease, support for the patient and their families, and research for a cure.

WHAT IS Metastatic Breast Cancer?
Metastatic Breast Cancer, also known as stage IV or Advanced Breast Cancer. This is a cancer that has spread beyond the breast and lymph nodes under the arm. The most common sites of metastatic are the bones, lungs, liver and brain. No one dies from breast cancer that remains in the breast. The lump itself is not what kills. The spread of cancerous cells to a vital organ is what kills. This is called metastasis. To learn more: mbcn.org
